Mr. Sean Samarasinghe is the Chief Executive Officer of Magna Fortuna Yachting Services (Pvt) Ltd. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Bachelors degree in Law (LLB). Sean is a visionary leader in his field, honing on his diverse experience, creativity and professionalism. With internationally recognised qualifications in Public Administration and Law, Sean has the necessary skills to identify new strategic opportunities his clients can capitalise on. Founded by Sean and under his leadership, Magna Fortuna Holdings, the visionary parent company of a diverse portfolio of successful enterprises, is at the forefront of driving innovation and growth in Sri Lanka, catalyzing the nation’s transformation into a thriving hub for international business and investment.
Management
Ashane Perera is qualified as a Marine Engineer from the UK, and also holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the UK. Ashane started his career with Johnson and Johnsons in London in R&D. Then moved to ship based operations for Carnival Cruise Lines. Where he gained over 13 years of ship and shore based ship management experience in technical operations. At carnival he headed a team that designed an open loop scrubber system that was patented and is now installed in over 150 ships. He currently is heading Business Development for Sri Lanka Shipping Company, the largest shipping company in the South Asian region. While also lecturing and advising CINEC (Maritime Training Academy) in modular courses in the marine leisure sector.
Lochana Silva specializes in valuation, transaction advisory, feasibility, strategic and operational consultancy for the firm’s clients. He is an expert in business collaboration. Lochana has assisted non-profit and for-profit clients with valuation evaluations and opinions on the fair value of acquired intellectual property and other intangible assets. He has worked as a Business Development Manager for Housing Industry Association in Australia and Yellow Brick Road.Lochana also has an Australian Credit License and the membership of the Finance Brokers Association of Australia. Lochana has also worked for BMW North America, advising clients on financial matters. He was a Realtor with Keller Williams (USA). Lochana holds a bachelor’s degree from Edith Cowan University and completed course work of a M.Sc. in Real Estate Management and Valuation from Sri Jayawardenapura University (SL). He is Asia’s youngest Fellow Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (UK).
